Sharjah, 31 Jan, 2017: In the presence of H.E Sheikh Fahim bin Sultan bin Khalid Al Qassimi, Chairman of the department of Government Relations in Sharjah, HE Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority, has received HE Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Hammadi, Consul-General of Qatar in Dubai and Northern Emirates. Also the meeting was attended by Capt. Nasser Al Suwaidi, Branch Manager of Passport Control at Sharjah Airport.

During the meeting, which was held at the Airport Management’s building, Al Midfa welcomed the Qatari diplomat and commended his efforts, which substantially contributed to enhancing joint cooperation at various fields.  He also wished him a pleasant stay in the UAE and the best of luck in his duties and success in the efforts to enhance and develop the distinguished fraternal relations between the two countries.

He stressed Sharjah Airport Authority’ commitment to enhance joint relations in areas of trade and aviation, as well as deepen the relations between two nations, that share deep historical ties on many levels.

HE Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Hammadi, Consul-General of Qatar in Dubai and Northern Emirates, commended the distinctive bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and expressed his appreciation to Sharjah Airport Authority for its effort to serve Qatari citizens, as he emphasized on the importance of discussing the matters of mutual interest between two parties.
