Sharjah International Airport is marking the Holy Month of Ramadan with a number of activities. These activities support its corporate social responsibility program and its commitment to promoting social cohesion among its staff in a multi-national environment.The Training Section at Sharjah Airport Authority in collaboration with Sharjah Islamic Affairs organized two lectures during past few days of the month of Ramadan. The first lecture, entitled “Sins of the Tongue” was held on 25th June 2015. The second lecture was held on 9th July 2015 titled “Our deeds at the end of our month”, in the presence of HE Sheikh Faisal Bin Saoud Al Qassimi, Director of Sharjah Airport Authority who later has honored each lecturer.HE Sheikh Faisal Bin Saoud Al Qassimi, Director of Sharjah Airport Authority, said: “During the Holy Month, Sharjah Airport Authority promotes compassion and sympathy among all staff by organizing different activities including lectures that reinforce tolerance and strengthen social ties. Deepening cooperation and team spirit among employees of all nationalities is at the forefront of our ethos. This reflects positively on improving our achievements and job satisfaction”.It is worth to note that Sharjah International Airport has hosted several activities during the month of Ramadan such as “Fast Breaking Initiative” on the occasion of Zayed Humanitarian Work Day, another one for its staff in Cargo area, and distributes Iftar meals to the passengers.
