Sharjah International Airport is participating for the 7th consecutive edition of Air Cargo Europe-Munich, which was inaugurated on 5th May and will continue till 8th May, 2015. Air Cargo Europe is integrated with Transport Logistic, the leading trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT and supply chain management with a over 50,000 trade visitors from 110 countries.H.E. Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority, headed the delegation along with Sheikh Faisal Bin Saoud Al Qassimi, Director of Sharjah Airport Authority. H.E. Ali Salim Al Midfa stated: “Air Cargo Europe is a very important platform as many international market leaders and influencers converge under one roof to network and showcase their business capabilities”.He added: “Sharjah Airport Authority’s participation in Air Cargo Europe is a strategic move to present to the air transport community the latest services and facilities of Sharjah International Airport, as well as the ongoing development plans of The Freight Centre. This event is also a perfect avenue to meet with the air cargo experts and industry decision makers from international airports, cargo agents, and freight forwarders among others. He added: “Our participation reinforces the mutual commercial relations we have with Europe, and enables us to benefit from existing and future business opportunities”.Air Cargo Europe is the exhibition and conference for the global air cargo business, taking place for the seventh time in 2015. In 2013, the event attracted about 53,000 visitors from 110 countries from all sectors of the industry.
