 Sharjah, 28 Sep, 2015: Sharjah International Airport received during the last three days from 26 to 28 Sep, 2015 thousands of pilgrims who had returned home onboard flights inbound from Jeddah and Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia after finalizing the Holy Lands. The flights are operated by Airarabia and other carriers.As pilgrims return from their spiritual journey, Sharjah International Airport welcomes them with full preparations to ensure eased flow and complete satisfaction. The staff from the airport welcomed the pilgrims and distributed gifts.HE Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority congratulated the pilgrims on a successful Hajj, and said: “All the necessary arrangements were made to ensure a seamless flow of pilgrims at the airport. A full-fledged plan has been put to action to ensure a smooth flow of pilgrims to the airport and back home again”.Sharjah International Airport is expected to receive other scheduled and non-scheduled inbound hajj flights from Saudi Arabia.
